RESERVATIONS 

Properties can be reserved with a deposit of 50% of the total Rental Cost for your chosen dates.  This does not include Damage Deposit.  Your dates will not be held until the 50% Rental Cost deposit has been received.  The second half of your Rental Cost, along with Damage Deposit, is due 30 days before your vacation check-in date.

PAYMENTS

We accept payments via e-Transfer, or Credit Card using the secure online payment processing companies Stripe.com and Square.  *Please note:  there is a 2.9% payment processing fee for using the Credit Card payment service (e-Transfers are free).  This fee is non-refundable for amounts processed in the event of cancellations, as we are not reimbursed this fee from our CC processing provider.  Thank you for your understanding.

DAMAGE DEPOSITS

A refundable, standard Damage Deposit is required for every booking and is due along with the second half of the Rental payment, 30 days prior to your vacation check-in date.  The deposit is then refunded back with-in 48 hours after check-out.   

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Full refund for cancellations up to 60 days before check-in, less a $150 cancellation fee. After that, only 50% of the total Rental Cost is refunded up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.

If booked fewer than 60 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 21 days before check-in. After that, only 50% of the total Rental Cost is refunded up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that.

Note: the Damage Deposit is always 100% refundable if the booking is canceled before the stay has commenced.

PETS

Sorry, we do not allow pets at the Lake House at this time. Rare exceptions are made for small, non-shedding dogs.

Extreme Circumstances Refund Policy

In cases where extreme natural disasters, fires, or floods occur, preventing access to or compromising the safety of the accommodation, guests may be considered for a full or partial refund, subject to the discretion of the host.
