“Everything was great. The house was modern, very clean with clear labels on everything from linens to kitchen supplies. Having a foosball table to use was a bonus for the young adults in our group. We appreciated how responsive our host was to any questions or concerns we had. We enjoyed the barbecue and the large patio every day. The location was within walking distance to the lake and a short drive to the freeway to do day trips to other small towns. The lovely open large back yard was home to a rabbit passing through, a deer in the distance and chipmunks darting around occasionally. The lake itself was chilly and the Shuswap was rocky, so laying on a blanket was not possible. This was our first trip to the Shuswap and we all felt at peace and recharged our batteries.”
